I've always loved gift-giving.
There's something special about seeing someone's face light up as they receive something you've picked out, just for them.
It's this feeling that originally inspired Sunday Gifts.
Born out of lockdown by two Auckland-based wāhine, the goal of Sunday Gifts was to bring people together, even when we were distances apart.
Because sometimes, a thoughtfully chosen gift can make someone far away feel like they're right next to you.
Recently, the opportunity arose for me to take over Sunday Gifts and continue this mission after the business had been on a 4 year hiatus.
I couldn't resist the chance to help others celebrate their special moments through thoughtful gift box experiences.
I know how impactful a special gift can be - enabling you to connect, show how much you care, evoke old memories, and create new ones.
But I also understand how challenging it can be to find the time to curate and send a gift.
That’s why I’m here - to make it easy for you to send thoughtful, heartfelt gifts to those who mean the most to you.
Already, I've had so much fun planning out our collection of boxes, and connecting with talented Kiwi business owners to source unique items to go inside.
Each box will be lovingly packed by me, from a small flat in Rotorua.
I hope when you open it, it brings a little bit of joy and warmth.
